The Division of Academic and Student Affairs has compiled “Pack Essentials”, a list of Campus Basic Needs Resources. They are sorted by resource: food, housing, financial, education, and other.


Ombuds Services

Student Ombuds are a wonderful resource here at NC State! Student Ombuds act as outreach educators that are here to listen to student complaints about university policies, procedures, and, in general, are here to help students resolve conflicts. Student Ombuds also work with students on issues such as diversity and inclusion here at NC State.


Wolfpack Response Line

The Wolfpack Response Line is a centralized resource for the NC State community regarding all questions related to COVID-19 and campus life during this time.

MEAL SHARE FOR SNAP RECIPIENTS

If you are already receiving SNAP benefits and want to apply for meal share in the event that SNAP benefits are delayed, please use the form linked above. This program is through Pack Essentials.

More in my Basket is a program developed at North Carolina State University/Cooperative Extension that helps reduce hunger by connecting North Carolina residents to SNAP through education about program eligibility, program benefits, and resources to stretch limited resources.


SHARE MEALS APP

Share Meals is a digital platform where students can share extra meal swipes and post extra food from club events with students who are food insecure. It works in real time, based on your location. You can find extra food within a 5 minute walking distance with one quick glance.

Special Resources during COVID-19

  • NC 2-1-1
    NC 2-1-1 is an information and referral service provided by United Way of North Carolina. If you have questions about the community response to COVID-19 or if you need information about food or housing assistance that you cannot find, you can dial 211 and you will be connected with someone who can either help you or direct you to the correct organization or agency.
  • A Place at the Table
    Due to COVID-19, APATT will be serving a limited, rotating menu available to-go, for curbside pickup, during our normal business hours. They will update their menu each week via our Instagram account. Their priority remains caring for and feeding our community so our pay-what-you can mission will remain intact through this transition.
  • Papa Murphy’s
    As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to have an increased impact on our communities, we want you to know that providing clean store environments and safe food served by healthy team members is always our first priority. We are monitoring the situation closely and are following updates and guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help keep you and our team members safe and healthy.
