At Feed the Pack food pantry, we believe it is essential to use all of our faculties to best serve our community. Over the past decade, Feed the Pack has kept record of our transactions both in and out of the pantry. Hopefully the graphs below elucidate to our patrons, volunteers, and Wolfpack family the impact Feed the Pack has on our community, as well as what you can do to support us.
These data collections represent the annual intake of food in pounds for the food pantry, as well as how many pounds are distributed. These graphs also show the impact COVID-19 has had on the food pantry over the past year.
These graphs depict our food in from all donations (excluding monetary donations and food bought from partners) and food out through March of 2021. Projecting these numbers out, food in is going to exceed our 2020 donations by around 30,000 lbs! While this is great, our food out of the pantry in 2021 is expected to increase by over 10,000 lbs.
This is wonderful to see as Feed the Pack continuously works to better serve our community. But it is also important to acknowledge the deficit of food we had in the food pantry last year remains. As we move forward, always striving to serve NC State sustainably, keep in mind how much each dollar or pound of food means to us and our mission at Feed the Pack!
