Non-Perishable Donations
Non-perishable donations are always welcome at Feed the Pack. Please check the expiration dates of items prior to donating, since we cannot accept expired items. To make a donation, simply drop off your food during Feed the Pack pantry’s open hours which are Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-6 pm, or Friday from 12-4 p.m. (Perishable donations are only accepted by appointment).
Perishable Donations
We are excited to announce that we are accepting perishable donations! Not all perishable foods will currently be accepted (such as meats, eggs, or dairy). However, we hope to open up donations for some of these items in the future. Perishable donations will only be accepted by appointment between the hours of 10-12 p.m. on Monday (click HERE for appointment). Donations can be dropped off at Feed the Pack in the Quad Commons Building at 2221 Dunn Ave. A list of items that will be accepted is provided below:
Produce
- Store bought
- Homegrown
- For example
- Tomatoes
- Blueberries
- Onions
- Etc.
Bread
- Store bought
- Not expired/moldy
- For example
- Loaves
- Bagels
- Tortillas
- Etc.
The Federal Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act protects donors from lawsuits and protects them from liability in good faith food donations.
