Leadership

Feed the Pack is led by its Student Leadership Team (SLT) and guided by its Advisory Board. The SLT manages the daily operations of the pantry while the Advisory Board provides advice and guidance for strategic planning, additional ideas, and support.

Emma Myer-Medina is the Volunteer Coordinator for Feed the Pack.


Emma is a senior majoring in Polymer and Color Chemistry with a concentration in Medical Sciences. She began volunteering with Feed the Pack in the spring of her sophomore year and is excited to join the Leadership Team this year. Emma is eager to spread the word about volunteer opportunities with Feed the Pack and inspire others to join in the fight to battle food insecurity on college campuses. Go Pack!

Rylee Teed is the Public Relations Coordinator for Feed the Pack.


Rylee is a freshman from Atlanta, GA currently in the Exploratory Studies program. After volunteering with food banks and pantries growing up, she was immediately inspired to work with Feed the Pack after starting at NC State. Rylee is thrilled to work with the pantry to ensure all community members have the resources they need to combat food insecurity.

Nhaturie Atkinson is the Outreach Coordinator for Feed the Pack.


Nhaturie is a junior from Greenville, NC. She’s majoring in Psychology and minoring in Social Work. Nhaturie has known about Feed the Pack since her freshman year and has been interested in getting involved ever since. She’s super excited to work and engage more with the community at NC State and in Raleigh. GO PACK!

Alyssa Griffin is the Pantry Manager for Feed the Pack.


Alyssa is a first year graduate student from Londonderry, NH studying atmospheric science. She volunteered with the food pantry at her undergraduate university for four years and looks forward to using those skills to improve Feed the Pack pantry operations. Alyssa is eager to share with partners the impact Feed the Pack has in our Wolf Pack community.

Rose recently returned to Feed the Pack Food Pantry in July 2022. Rose graduated from NC State in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. As an undergraduate, she served on the Student Leadership Team as Volunteer Coordinator from 2019-2020 and Executive Director from 2020-2021. Her undergraduate experience with Feed the Pack inspired her to return to the pantry as Program Coordinator. As Program Coordinator, Rose manages the day-to-day operations of Feed the Pack and serves as a liaison between the Student Leadership Team and partners both on and off campus. She also mentors the Student Leadership Team and works with Student Leadership and Engagement to create and implement long-term goals for Feed the Pack. She looks forward to working with Feed the Pack’s partners and expanding the resources available in the pantry.

Kaleigh Steigman is the AmeriCorps VISTA for Feed the Pack

Kaleigh started her year of service with the Pack Essentials Hub and Feed the Pack Food Pantry in July 2023. Before joining the NC State team, Kaleigh graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2023 with a B.A. in Public and Urban Affairs after majoring in Environmental Policy and Planning. Her undergraduate experience as an intern with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Virginia Tech Office of Sustainability furthered her interest in addressing complex social and environmental issues. She is excited to be a member of the Pack Essentials Hub and to continue work started by previous AmeriCorps VISTAs to empower NC State students, staff, and faculty to create a community in which all members have access to the resources they need to meet their basic needs. As an AmeriCorps VISTA, Kaleigh will work to build capacity for the Pack Essentials Hub through fundraising, partnership building, and outreach and education efforts. She serves as a support to the Feed the Pack Student Leadership Team and facilitates the Pack Essentials Hub Advisory Board. She looks forward to continuing her service year at NC State and learning what it means to be a part of the Pack.
